Are Signs From Loved Ones Real?
One of the most common questions people ask after losing someone they love is:

"Was that really a sign?"
Perhaps it was a dream that felt unusually vivid. A song that played at exactly the right moment. A familiar scent with no obvious source. A meaningful coincidence that seemed too perfect to ignore.
Experiences like these are surprisingly common. People from many different cultures, religions, and spiritual backgrounds report moments that make them feel connected to someone they have lost.
Of course, there is no way to prove with certainty what these experiences mean.
Some people view them as natural expressions of memory and grief. Others see them as meaningful signs from loved ones in spirit. Many find themselves somewhere in between—open to the possibility while remaining grounded and thoughtful.
What I find most interesting is not whether every experience can be explained, but how deeply these moments can affect us.
A single dream, feeling, or coincidence can bring comfort during a difficult time. It can remind us of the love we shared and help us feel a little less alone in our grief.
Throughout my own spiritual journey and studies in mediumship, I have learned the importance of approaching these experiences with both an open heart and a healthy sense of curiosity. I do not believe every unusual event is necessarily a sign, but I also believe that some experiences deserve thoughtful reflection rather than immediate dismissal.
Ultimately, each person must decide for themselves what feels meaningful.
Whether a sign comes from spirit, memory, the subconscious mind, or something we do not yet fully understand, what matters most is the impact it has on us.
Sometimes, the comfort we receive is more important than having all the answers.
Perhaps the question is not, "Was it real?"
Perhaps the question is, "What did it mean to me?"
